This was one of those rare projects where I did only design. Also it was kind of a gift or maybe a give back to the faculty and especially the IT department where I got my bachelors and later masters.

Highly customized WordPress template including numerous bespoke plugins to fulfill the required functionality. The template also allows for lots of customization to be made by the client, including completely customizable grid based front page using widgets. Ads placement based on category, ability to create new ad positions. Custom server setup and much more!
